They are so hard.
I'd like to say it gets easier as they get older, but I won't lie.....
Erika falls less as she has gotten used to her prosthetics over the last 6 years. For Erika, who doesn't bend at the hip, when she does fall it is very scary because her arms don't bend and her body doesn't bend. She takes some pretty hard hits. I was tempted a long time ago to make her wear a helmet! But Mike and she both said, "don't worry!"

So I worry quietly. :)

The good news is.... she falls less. When she does, I run to the loud boom where ever it happens and 90% of the time she is laughing at my reaction.

Tough kids.... :) Christie Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09738612207150868577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2383774562996504979.post-29367602304524232872013-06-07T10:36:00.127-05:002013-06-07T10:36:00.127-05:00Great job, Ellie! You are such a wonderful Mom, so much so that God chose you for these two very special babies. And I would bet that the bond the two of them share will be even stronger due to the challenges they both face. God bless your sweet family.Goodmom42https://www.blogger.com/profile/07931398829489781946noreply@blogger.com
