Went to the dr. again today & things are great! The heartbeat is still pretty high (160 bpm) & the nurse says it's a girl based on the heartbeat being consistently high. (I know it's a old wives tale but its fun to guess... & she is a "medical authority figure" so she should know! :)) We'll let you know around Sept. 8th. My blood pressure is super low but I appear to be living still (though Reagan might argue my brain is no longer functioning - I've definitely got a case of "baby brain!") I also got the ok to continue eating lots of peanut butter & fruit.
It seemed more real today as we were instructed to find a pediatrician and Dr. Doke began discussing delivery (as in - he's ok with me traveling late in the pregnancy but highly suggests we not venture into the Rocky Mtn. wilderness as Reagan might have to deliver the baby! - Don't worry Dr. Doke!) This is really going to happen! We also began discussing names more seriously now that this is for real! Naming a baby is a scary responsibility - they have to live with this name forever! Wow!
Also - we recorded the baby's heartbeat last night & I've saved it on the computer but I can't seem to get it onto the blog- any ideas on how you upload a .wav file onto a blog?!?!

Praise the Lord for another healthy check-up! So exciting! So..... my baby BOY's heartbeat was always consistently high so don't start buying pink too soon. :)
Good to hear you guys are doing good, Here's how I got the HB on the internet. I used my camera to record the sound (with no picture) from my cell phone. Then opened it with windows movie maker and uploaded it somewhere that you can include the link to on your blog. (could probably be youtube if you can't find anywhere else). It is probably a lot easier than that but I had no means of sound imput (mic) to import the sound with. Hope that helps,
