WHEW!

What a weekend! Reagan went fishing on the Texas coast with some of his friends & had a blast while managing to catch a few! They definitely had a great time!

Since he was gone, I took Ruby & baby & drove to Waco for a girls' weekend. I had so much fun visiting with old friends! On Saturday, I ate lunch & shopped with several girls - all of whom are prego too. From left to right, EJ (21 weeks, boy), Jennifer (21 weeks, boy), Brooke (35 weeks, boy), & me (27 weeks, mystery). EJ just moved back to Waco this weekend & I hadn't seen her since last fall. It was so great to see & visit with her in person again!

On Sunday, I visited our old Sunday School class & also our homegroup which was fun to get to see more people. Then Jennifer took my maternity pictures. That was super fun! She is a photographer so we set up a studio in her living room (which was quite an ordeal & involved a random trip to starbucks for help...) It was so much fun to try to capture the pregnancy. I'll post a few perhaps (of the internet appropriate ones of course) after I choose which ones I want. Later, after Michael got back to town, he took some of both of us, that's the one in our tank tops above.

I had a great time & was thankful for a weekend to spend with girlfriends & without an agenda. It felt like I'd never left (maybe that's because I talk or email with most of the girls nearly daily!) We stayed up late talking, walked the old neighborhood route, & just hung out. I will admit, however, that it was nice to get back to our west texas climate! Who knew!?!? Waco was super hot & humid! As I drove into west texas, it was about 75 degrees with some rainshowers. Today is nice & cool - no humidity!
