- cleaned out two refrigerators (the garage one & the one in the kitchen)
- worked on my duties for three parties & completed those
- created a pregnancy scrapbook & made it up to date
- worked on some Discovery Toys stuff
- cleaned my closet
- ordered maternity pictures
- sewed some things for my baby
- updated & organized insurance information/ medical files
- worked on signs for our hospital room & a letter to the nurses about our precious baby
- created my labor bag
I'm not sure if this is my nesting instinct kicking in or just a sense of panic- this baby will be here soon!!!
What's left on my list you may wonder?
- organize the pantry
- finish the nursery (just little odds & ends)
- finish packing for the hospital (I've packed for the baby... I need to pack for myself!)
- get a video camera
- organize & frame some old family photos I've been collecting from our grandparents
And, I've also managed to give myself some "forced relaxation" (time I force myself out of the house for swimming, reading, & laps at the pool each day - really helps to elevate my mood.) Today, I didn't have to force myself out... I could hardly wait for 2:45. I had a prenatal massage! It was WONDERFUL!!!! I can't even tell you how good it felt to have someone rub my aching body! I also talked the masseuse into showing me the points on the feet/ankles which are supposed to induce labor. I may be making Reagan rub my feet more in the coming weeks to help get a jumpstart on labor! :) The masseuse practically bathed me in cocoa butter. It felt fabulous- this is a must for every preggo- especially if you are under any kind of stress at all! WOW!!!

My brother-in-law's ex-girlfriend is a masseuse so when I was pregnant with Jayce she would rub those points to try and help my fat butt out. Apparently, all it did was help me pee my pants...lol! Hope you have better luck with it. ;)
good morning, katie!
first of all--what a beautiful pic of you and reagan! you will treasure that forever! :-)
and--your "lists" are impressive. you are definitely in the "nesting" phase!i am completely WOW-ed by all that you have done--and the really neat projects that you have in your plans. (OK--maybe organizing the pantry isn't really neat, but you've had some great ideas of things you want to do.:-) ) all of this is just to say y'all are ever close in my heart and prayers and i have already asked God this morning to bless this day for you. He is faithful.
with love,
nancy
I made a list too but didn't get it all done, including packing for the hospital, because Josiah came early so I say the sooner the better! :)
Wow! You are busy...be sure to take it easy...you won't get to do that for a LONG time...so enjoy the quiet now. Glad the massage was amazing--you definitely deserve it! ejw
I think the natural nesting instinct has set in! I continue to pray for your family and can't wait to "meet" your precious baby on your blog. :0)
