So often this summer, people have told Reagan & I how "strong" we are. We often laugh - we are not strong at all. In fact, we are confident that the only way we've been functioning since June 20th is because others have been praying. We often don't even know how to pray or what words to use. We have sometimes been so consumed with emotion or with exhaustion or with despair and we know that the only way we come out of that is through the prayers of others. And somehow, we've been able to still find great joy! We were talking just recently about what an "easy" pregnancy this has been. Obviously, with what we've been experiencing, the fact that our joy has not been stolen is due to your prayers! I'm so grateful to have so many happy memories of pregnancy- more happy times than tearful times!
For those of you who don't know how to pray... here are some of our specific prayer requests as we prepare for delivery soon:
- a miracle of hands & feet
- that bone structure would be optimal
- that our baby would have no difficulty feeding
- a smooth labor & delivery
- no more scary surprises
- safe travel to & from the hospital
- that all of the best doctors would be in place & coordinated so that we can maximize our time in the hospital
- that this would be a time of joy & celebration -for everyone who enters our room!
- life!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Thanks for our reflections and letting us know how to pray. I can't wait to see you again with this precious baby. Love you sister, ejw
Katie,
I hope you remember me, Eva Saenz, now Tarbutton (I finally got married :)!), I worked with your mom at Women of Grace. I found out about your blog and want you to know that you and your husband are such an inspiration! I know that the Lord is the God of what ,we humans, call impossible, but He still is a miracle maker. I want you to know that my husband and I have been committed to praying for you, your husband and your baby since we first visited your blog. We just pray that He continue to bless you with joy and peace and that He honor your great faith!
In Him,
Eva Saenz Tarbutton
I just wanted to let you know that prayers and petitions to God are going up for you, your husband and your precious baby. I saw a post on babyfit’s May Mommy Board that I am apart of and was touched by your story. I have sent it to all my friend’s at my church (Beyond The Veil Worship Center ~ Upper Marlboro, MD) so we can be all in agreement together. God is able to change things in a blink of an eye and I believe that your precious LO has a miraculous purpose to fulfill. I also heard you might be in labor, so whenever you read this, probably way after baby is born, please update me on your process. My email address: wedplanner2004@yahoo.com or on babyfit at: my.babyfit.com/LILNERFSMOM
God Bless you and I hope to hear from you,
Pam
