So - just a few minutes ago, I'm shopping at Wal-Greens for rice cereal (Will gets to start his "rice krispies" today!!!) & picking up his acid reflux medicine as well as several other items we need for Christmas when I look down & suddenly realize, I'm wearing my HOUSESHOES!!! And yet, I told myself it could be worse- I could be wearing my special baby feeding nightgown - & I continued to shop as I didn't want to take Will back home & then back up to the store. Yes- I am officially an exhausted new mom!
And to add to my airheadness (is that a word?) - when fixing Will his first serving of rice cereal, I mixed 1 tbs of the cereal with 5 oz of breastmilk (it was supposed to be 4 - 5 tablespoons - not ounces!) He ate it like a pro using a spoon but it wasn't until last night that I realized why it was so runny! I need sleep!
