WHEW! What a FUN, WONDERFUL, OVERWHELMING, HUMBLING, & SURREAL weekend we've had! It was the Dallas Wellstone White Rock Marathon Weekend. There were so many wonderful events so I will post pictures & info by day & maybe in a week or so I'll be caught up! I'm also going to try to figure out YouTube so I can show you Will's special finish at the marathon.
SO- Thursday, at 5:15 am, Will & I headed to the airport for his 4th flight in 3 months! He had an appointment at Scottish Rite Thursday morning & the weekend of fun began!
On Friday morning, Scottish Rite held an event for all of the patient champions (Will was the youngest patient champion this year). They invited celebrity & elite runners as well as some NASA astronauts to give the kids autographs. Crocs were race sponsors so they sent cute little baby crocs for all the kids. Will got lots of fun autographs on his marathon shirt & began making friends with some of the other kids.

Will with Jak, the 2007 Junior Race Director - maybe Will will be a jr. race director in a few years! I think he thought Jak was pretty cute- look at that smile! :)
