In swim class this week, I began letting go of Will when he would go under & he swam to me! He always comes up with a big grin on his face! :) So cute! He also now dunks his head all by himself- before I can even count to three! Sometimes he does this out of the water too... I start counting & by "2" he is closing his eyes & putting his head down. So funny! I no longer have to blow air in his face- he just knows how to hold his breath & does it on his own. Last night, in a make up class, he also began dunking his head backwards- really funny. He seems to have no fear & to really enjoy the water. I'm thrilled he is so comfortable but I do want him to have a healthy respect/fear of the water. It makes me a little nervous right now that he doesn't. Fortunately, the class teaches lots of safety tricks so hopefully he'll learn those & I'll feel more secure!
