I went very "Martha" this weekend. We were having some friends over for dinner & I needed pumpkin seeds for the pumpkin soup I was making. I went to two different stores & could not find pumpkin seeds. So, during Will's afternoon nap, I carved out a pumpkin & cleaned the seeds to roast. I then decided to be very environmentally friendly & cut some berries from my yard to create a centerpiece! :) (By the way, I later opened my pantry & found several bags of pumpkin seeds I guess I'd forgotten I'd purchased!)
Bet your playroom floor doesn't look like this. Will was playing with his friends, Jak & Jayce & all three boys took off their shoes/legs. I found the assorted shoes/legs funny.
Will & Jak had quite a system with Will's new ball blower. Will would remove the balls & hand them to Jak who put them back in the machine. So cute- love that adoring look Will is giving Jak.
This is for you, Uncle Adam! It was finally cold enough for me to wear my hoodie last week!
Will found one of his mommy's headbands yesterday & enjoyed fixing his hair. I'm sure his father would be proud.

Linens & Things went bankrupt so Reagan, Will, & I headed there last weekend to see if we could find any good deals. While shopping with the hordes of people, Will lost a leg/zanco. I was oblivious. Fortunately, Reagan was behind us & picked it up while calling out, "You lost a leg!" Needless to say, we got some funny looks for that & then again as we sat on the floor to put it back on. I'm so glad Reagan found it - those are some expensive little legs!
It was definitely one of those comical moments in our lives- something we never thought we'd be saying as we shopped!
