Easter Day

Making glitter crosses for a craft Easter week
Will loves walking the dog "all by himself" down the street everyday.

Apparently, he loves walking the leash as well.

My parents brought "resurrection eggs" for Easter lunch. As kids, we had used these same eggs on Easter Sunday to tell the story of the ressurection. Each adult had a little piece of scripture to read & after each scripture reading, one of the kids would get to open the corresponding egg to find a little symbol representing that part of the Easter story.
It was a great way to involve the children at lunch after they had finished eating.

With some creative help from my mom, we rearranged my dining room to accomodate 13 adults at one table & 3 kids at another table for Easter lunch!

I loved getting to use my crystal, silver, china, good linens, and china. I even found some fun pink & floral linen napkins I had once bought on a whim at an estate sale which went really well with my blue linen tablecloth. For placecards, we used the dyed eggs the boys had dyed (see post way below) & wrote people's names on them.

(He kept eating his jellybeans rather than gluing them!)
This was such a great craft- all of the colors represented something about Jesus & His sacrifice

The kids above are feeling how soft their bunny tails are!

Easter Sunday morning was wild!
First, we attended First Baptist where we saw our newphew, Hayden, be baptized on Easter morning. That's him above.
Then, we headed to our church (Midland Bible Church) so Will could attend Sunday School on Easter.
Finally, we headed home where we hosted Easter lunch for 16!

Lots of books, bubbles, & silly string

Simply amazing Katie!
Thanks for sharing these precious videos with the far away friends.
I love them.
Ahhh is he a stud or what?
He's so fast--I'm so impressed with how fast he gets up when sitting.
You are a star Will!
