As soon as we walked into our local Minor League Baseball stadium last night, Will began heckling the players. It was hilarious! He would yell & shake his hand at them! He sat ramrod straight on the edge of his chair & was very focused on the game.
Until... Juice the Moose (a mascot guy) showed up & scared Will to death. He then wouldn't take his eyes off Juice, & held his blankee & daddy tight - not so intimidating to the other team at that point! Great posture & so focused on baseball!
And, we now return to the baseball game...
Reagan was so proud- he's never caught one before & this landed right under Will's seat! ;)
(The other kids around us were not pleased!)
Over the last several days, I've noticed he's come to tell me when he poops- "Mommy, I poop." So, excited, naive first time mommy that I am, I ran to the store Saturday after my cpr refresher course to buy a potty for him. I let him sit on it & get used to it but was shocked when he actually he pooped on it! To keep me humble, however, I sent him to tell daddy his big news & he peed on the living room floor.
Oh well - you have to start somewhere!
For the record, I am not potty training yet- I'm afraid to commit my life to the toilet every 30 minutes when Will is doing so much therapy, gymnastics, swim class, & travel for the month of May. I might start in the summer when therapy slows down a bit & we're in town more... but I'm not telling when I do - for fear that he'll be 10 & still not potty trained!
For now, we're just getting used to the idea of a kid sized toilet!
(This whole process terrifies me - any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!)
And, we now return to the baseball game...
The kids - focused on the game
Will - heckling the Springfield Cardinals up close
Maria, Elena, me, & Will
My boys - who share a love of sports
Aren't they cute in their hats?!?

Go Will!
Way to poop dude :)
I sat Walker on the potty too while we were away from the house
and he peed but out in front all over the floor---
I can tell this is going to be very tricky with boys!

So three 1/2 years into this mothering of boys thing, and Aaron is finally potty trained. We went with the let him pee all over the house method and it worked! (at 3 yrs). So nice to only have to buy diapers for one now ~ Potty training is exhausting so put it off while you can. :)
