Sometimes when I am singing to Will at night, he will interrupt me saying, "Mommy, Will do" repeatedly until I stop singing & allow him to sing something.
Tonight, I thought that maybe he might want to pray. He really enjoys holding our hands when we pray & loudly says, "Amen!"
So, after I prayed with him cuddled against me in the rocker, I asked him to pray and it went like this:
"Lovie," "Cookie," "Will," "G-Dad," "Honey," "Mommy (with a high-five to me)," & "Dada," "Ruby," "wimming," & some more "Will's" thrown in there sporadically.
Just as we pray with him for those various family members, I think he was doing the same. And of course, there was a very loud, "Amen!"
I'm guessing that our God loves the sweet prayers from babes.
