2 weeks ago, we took Will & Hayden to Longview for the Great Texas Balloon Race! It was lots of fun! We even got to see a "balloon glow" - when the light up all the hot air balloons (this was actually invented in Longview!)
Just in case you doubted our security, we were well protected by my newphew- army man Hayden

They had a really fun kids area with carnival rides & all sorts of cool inflatable games & bounce houses. Will & Hayden loved this sports one - you could play 4 different sports on it. Will is playing soccer on the left while Hayden is throwing a football
Hopefully, I'll find my video soon but Will did a great job on the baseball side! He would swing & hit the ball! I was so proud!!!
He also started a new phrase here which he does with hand motions, mimicking a baseball player:
"Swing, hit, Batter batter batter!" So cute!
He is a baseball fanatic! (Or according to him, a "baseball kid!")
The boys rode this helicopter ride around & around. I do believe I'm raising a little thrill seeker- he just loved the rides!
He especially loved the choo choo. On his second ride, he got to sit in front & ring the bell. It was very exciting!
They also fulfilled every boy's dream with big construction trucks & tractors that kids could climb into! Here they are in a digger truck:

wow --that looks like a ton of 'boy' fun...way to go mom for making it happen :) yes i love balloon glows. i used to go/ work the one BU had on the football field---so beautiful!
walker would flip to ride in thosee tractors/ bulldozers...
