I just can't get enough of these smiles!
Posing with his "baseball hat," "baseball shirt," "baseball ball (new ball autographed by Rocky at the game!), & "baseball glove."
So HAPPY! I Love Baseball!
the baseball boys
Our kind usher brought Will & Hayden baseballs which the boys took to Rocky (the mascot) to get signed. Will loves the "doggie and moose" & talks about them ALL DAY LONG! However, he's all talk. The second he gets close to one of them - he freaks out. Therefore, Hayden had autograph duty while Will watched from the safety of my arms
Will & I in our baseball hats
Watching the game in his "2" baseball shirt
In between baseball games, Will was promoted on Sunday to the 2 year old class- very exciting & kind of sad (for his mommy!)
At the baseball game with our church on Friday - these kids were loving the popcorn!
Lydia, Jenna, & Will - Will's going for sneak attack on the popcorn while Jenna is supposed to be posing for a pic - & Lydia is dutifully obeying & smiling for the camera!
The face painted kids- aren't they adorable?
How to Pitch: by Will
Step 1: Say, "Watch, Mommy," & step forward & with the opposite arm, rear back...
(Is "switch pitcher" even a correct baseball term. I would ask my local expert but he's sound asleep in his crib.)
Step 2: focus on your aim & bring the ball forward
Make sure your leg is out & knee bent, just like the MLB pitchers
Step 3: Release the ball & make a great follow thru pose for your mom who is holding the camera
A kind lady brought her face paints to our church's social event at the ballpark. Will has never had his face (or arm) painted before. He was a little skeptical at first but very curious so she did his arm. He loved it & immediately climbed into the chair for more. I think touch is his love language as he seemed very relaxed when her hands were on his face!
Hmmm- How do I look?
I look good!
Look at my baseball arm, Mom! (A week has gone by & he daily talks about & points to his arm to tell me about the baseball painted there. He loved having his cheek painted to but it didn't last as long as his arm - plus, he couldn't readily see it without the mirror so I guess it was "out of sight, out of mind." Having his body painted may be one of his life's highest points!)

Happy 2nd Birthday Will...from one August 30th birthday to another. :)
