Jesus or Captain Jack Sparrow?

Will is just cracking us up all the time lately. At almost 2, he has really begun to say some funny things. In fact, this may be the only part of age 2 that I'm really excited about - more funny conversations!

For instance, for the last several weeks when we pray at night, he has started saying part of the prayer. The part he always says along with me is "for Bubby & Gigi- that they would choose you, Jesus." (He says "Bubby Gigi choose you, Jesus.")

I love hearing him say that & hope that maybe God is beginning to pierce Will's heart- that he too will someday choose Jesus.

However, before I think my 1 year old is some spiritual giant, God humbled me recently when I said, "Please God" following the whole choose you, Jesus & Will got very excited. He thought I was saying "police car." And so, my sweet Will for days believed we were praying to the great police car in the sky... or something.

And then, the video above. Will was jumping off of Reagan's luggage & rolling all over the floor when suddenly, he spotted a Pirates of the Caribbean placemat I found recently at the dollar store for a friend of his who has a pirate themed room. And, well, you'll just have to watch. I hope Jesus is not offended. :) (And yay that I just happened to have my video camera on as we were filming his rolling falls!)
