Yesterday, while I was driving to workout, Will suddenly yelled from the backseat,
"GO, JESUS!"
Excitedly, I turned around & the following conversation ensued:
"Mommy, Jesus wear a baseball hat?"
Yes, Will, He can if He wants to.
"Mommy, Jesus wear a baseball shirt?"
Sure, Will.
"Mommy, Jesus wear baseball shoes?"
You bet, Sweet Will.
"Mommy, Jesus have a baseball bat and baseball ball?"
I suppose Jesus & His disciples might have found a stick & ball & played a little baseball.
"Mommy, Jesus baseball player & Will a baseball player?!?!"
Absolutely, Will - you can both be baseball players.
I just love the way his little mind is working - it's obviously rather important to him that Jesus love what he is passionate about & somehow, I bet the Inspirer & Creator of Will's passions loves listening to conversations like this.
On another, completely unrelated (& as far from spiritual as we can get) note,
Will informed me that his, ahem, male anatomy, is big today.
I learned 2 things:
1. he's confident
2. are you kidding me that they start thinking this way at barely age 2?!?!
He's only 2 years & 3 days old & I am LOVING the conversations we have - he just cracks me up all the time with the things he comes up with & the way he answers my questions.
