Mr. Muscles showing off his fireman boots. These were a booger to get on his prosthetics. It literally took my dad to pull them on & later off. Since his zanco's feet are not flexible, it makes it really tough to get them into boots. Will loved having them on & begged today to dress up as a fireman with his boots. I hated telling him that we have to wait for Daddy to get home in order to put the boots on - despite hours of bodypump, I'm just not strong enough.

I think this will be one of the tougher things with Will over the next few years- as he loves playing dressup & loves the special shoes that come with dressing up. It will be hard to explain for him that he may not be able to wear the shoes the way he wants to. Sounds silly, doesn't it? Who knew that this would be one of my emotional parenting challenges.

He LOVED this pirate ship & talks daily about the "pirate ship in the ocean." He can't wait for the "someday" when he gets to ride it.
