Our Thankgsiving morning began with a 10K- the "Full Pie 10K"- created by my dad & a friend of his. R & I ran along with our cousin's husband, Justin. Will watched from my parents' front yard as the runners came by.
At the starting line- with my dad's friend, John, on his motorcycle to lead the wayMy mom loves to cook & she loves giving cooking lessons. She decided this year since some of my younger cousins would be present to make a giant cooking lesson out of Thanksgiving. She printed out the family recipes so everyone would have a cookbook and then she gave lessons. My aunts & grandmother also taught how to make their various specialities. It was really fun and allowed everyone to participate.
