Just in the last week or so, Will has begun feeding himself cereal completely with ONE hand and a spoon. He hasn't needed my assistance all week!!! (This would be one of the 2 pictures I've taken so far this year!)Some funny Willisms from this week:
Today at the Cowboy store where we were getting a new cowboy hat as his old straw one has been loved into having a giant straw hole that hurts his head, he asked if a man there, "lives in a barn." He was also quite concerned about anyone who wasn't wearing a cowboy hat & insisted on asking them where their hat was.
When asked what he would like for breakfast one day, he said, "Daddy makes eggs. Cookie makes cookies. Lovie makes eggs, bacon, & sausage. (& while patting me like, "poor Mommy") - You make baseball breakfast bars, Mommy." Yes, darling - I can make one heck of a good Nutrigrain breakfast.
"Cats eat cat food. Dogs eat dog food for their tummies. People eat horses." No, Will, I don't think horse would be very good. "Ok, people eat roosters, Mommy?" Yuck - I hope not!
"Ok- people eat cows & chicken!" Don't think he's becoming a vegetarian anytime soon!
"Ouch! Mommy, help me! I've got a little blue caterpillar in my bottom!!!" No idea what this so called caterpillar is in his bottom or where this thought is coming from! Oh, the creativity!
I know he has said other funny things this week but I'm too tired to remember them! I think I shall deem 2010 the year of forgetfullness so far!
