We're Back!

We are back from our fast & furious & wonderful family vacation. Due to delays, we actually ended up getting bumped off our flight & lost another day of our trip! It almost became the trip that never was! (In fact, when we left the airport, after waiting nearly 3 hours for our flight before getting kicked off, Will couldn't understand why they wouldn't "obey" & let us on! The next morning, we woke him up to head to the airport again, & he said, "I bet they won't let us on." Poor kid - a cynic at age 2! He had heard so many times all week that we were going to the ocean "tomorrow" that he stopped believing us!)

We did go - for 2.5 days. We had a glorious time.

One word could sum it up - Laughter!

We played & laughed a LOT. Good for our souls.

We truly escaped.

And I got to take my girl to the beach. :)

Meanwhile, reality hit on the way home yesterday as I had doctors from Dallas calling me to set up my next fetal mri, fetal echo, & perinatology appointments there (set for next week). R thinks he tore his ACL yesterday so we are adding him to the list of people in our family seeing specialists, & I had an appointment today with our local perinatolgoist.

Ellie Update today:

She is STABLE!

Yahoo for an uneventful appointment!!! She still is medically fragile but nothing new has shown up between last Thursday and this morning. Yahooooo!!!

So nice to not have the adrenaline rush of things I need to get done & the emotional breakdowns I have become accustomed to after her appointments!
