Happy end of school to many of you this week! H0pe your weekend was great! Reagan stayed home & hung the fan & light in our nursery while I spent the weekend helping my mom at a conference in San Antonio. (Driving 5 hrs to see her is faster than 7.5!) She is working for Dee Brestin, a Christian author & speaker. Dee had one of her daughters with her as well so it was fun to go out mother/daughter style & get to know Dee better. Having done a few of her Bible studies, I really enjoyed attending one of her conferences. I also enjoyed helping my mom although it was exhausting! She works really hard as the conference coordinator & selling books, making sure everything is ready, managing the power points, etc! It was fun to stay in a hotel too. On Saturday night, we were so exhausted that we ordered room service & rented a movie in our room to watch in our pjs!Sunday morning we went to Max Lucado's church. He is retiring from preaching soon so it was fun to have the opportunity to hear him live.
