Will examining Cousin Casey's beard... is he a person or a doggie? (Will's answer to my question, What is this, Will? - "Doggie!")

A family game of ping-pong. I lost, even though Reagan was holding Will.
Traditionally, we always celebrate Christmas night with a big dinner with our lifetime family friends & neighbors, the Rogers & the Rameys. This year, however, we broke tradition & had them over for a late afternoon ping pong game & appetizers.
Below: Rogers boys playing ping pong (that's the first William David on the left), Sarah Rogers watching, & Reagan guarding the pool from Will in the back.

I was so proud of Will - he signed "thank you" after opening each gift!
Will with his Cookie & Lovie- yes, they are wearing matching pjs with their grandparent names monogrammed on them...
Checking out what is in his stocking Christmas morning
Whoops- a little out of order here! We broke up our trip home with a night in Waco. We visited with dear friends & old neighbors. Above, Will is on a wagon ride with his pal Mason to visit our old next door neighbors, the Harrisons.
Driving home after Christmas - an exhausted boy! He is addicted to his Boston Red Sox hat. As you can see above, he is even sleeping in it sometimes! He calls it his, "ha" & often gets rather demanding in the car for it to be on his head. (He does say please for it, however!)
Our family, Christmas Night
Cuddling Christmas morning with Jazz, Uncle Adam's golden retriever from CO.
In our little family, we always read the Christmas story from the Bible Christmas morning in our bed before opening any gifts. This year, we thought Will might do better with the illustrated version - see below picture. He was, of course, fascinated with the sheep ("BAAA!") & very interested in finding any doggies in the stable with baby Jesus. Since that was occupying so much time, we then switched to the traditional Bible- actually read faster than the illustrated one!
