Tyler Christmas

We went to a park almost every day while in Tyler for Christmas. This is the same park I grew up playing at and selling lemonade at (although the play equipment has been updated!) It was so fun to take Will back there & he loved it!
Learning with G.U.S. (Great Uncle Steve) how to roll down a hill. (See video below for some laughs!)

Swinging high with mommy's cousin Cassidy & Uncle Adam

Little daredevil- down the big slide, face first! He also figured out how to roll over while sliding down so that he was coming down head first, upside down! Crazy kid!:)
I'm already fearing adding ER docs to our medical Christmas card list!

Yes, I did dress him as an elf to fly to Tyler for Christmas. I figure I will never be able to do this again! Isn't he a cute little elf?!?!

A sleeping elf- at baggage claim!
Why I Don't Scrapbook Very Well...
I have been working on Will's first year baby scrapbook for nearly a year now. I've completed the first 2 months. I consider myself a fairly creative person & I love projects but I do not love scrapbooking. I admire those who do it well. I wish I could afford to pay you to do mine for me. I am resolving to do Will's first year sometime by the end of this year (or at least before he goes to college... or maybe just before I die.) I have already decided not to do my future kids the same type of scrapbook. (I'll just put their pictures in a book minus all the fun paper & stickers.)
That said, my biggest problem with scrapbooking? Not being able to narrow down my pictures. I probably have about 2000 pictures of Will's first month... maybe 200 made it in the scrapbook. I have a billion pictures & videos of this Christmas & I am NOT good at choosing the best ones! So, please excuse the masses that will come today & over the next few days! I just hate leaving any out (unless they are super bad of me or one of our relatives who may read the blog & be upset!)

Some of my favorite park videos! Be sure to pause the music playlist on the right side of the blog.

The big slide videos! The one on the right is hilarious as he figured out how trick us & went down the slide where no one was waiting to catch him!

This is one of my favorite posts ever of yours. My cheeks are hurting from smiling/laughing so hard (and watching the videos a couple of times)! :)

I am not a scrapbooker either. What I do love and find much, much easier is the online books from Shutterfly. I highly suggest them. Super easy, not terribly time consuming and beautiful. I've done 4 of them now ...not kid specific, but for our summer & certain trips. Easy!
