We were shocked blessed last year to win a week at a home in Cordillera, Co (outside of Beaver Creek) at a charity auction with a very low bid. We invited our families to join us for a portion of the week but only mine could make it. We really enjoyed some great family time as a family of three and then time with my parents & my brother who lives in CO & his girlfriend. The home had 5 bedrooms, gorgeous views, a hottub, a steambath/sauna in the master bath, sleds, a fabulous kitchen to cook in & toys! The homeowners have three small grandchildren (all boys) so they even have a beautiful nursery complete with gorgeous custom bedding, a crib, changing table, etc. Will was thrilled with all of the new toys he could play with & I was thrilled to not have to take most of my baby gear! They even had baby gates, sippy cups, & carseats! The only downside to the trip was that on our second day, both R & Will got sick which meant trips to the nearest dr- about 20 miles away. Honestly, however, it was a nice place to be sick & I was thankful to be able to take care of them & enjoy a great nap & a great view rather than taking care of them at home when I might still need to run errands, rearrange therapy schedules, etc. Reagan skiied 5 days & I got to ski for 2 which was fun.

It was a much needed break although we're a bit exhausted from our vacation.
