When Will saw these girls do handstands for him, he wanted to try it himself! Will had quite a harem little fan club today in the pool! 5 little girls "oohed" & "awed" over every trick he did. Of course, mr. flirt loved the attention & made sure he gave them lots of giggles, high-fives, & claps. They did flips for him too, which he loved & tried one himself (with a little help, of course!)
Oh, my little daredevil - willing to do anything for some attention!
Based on some of our recent experiences in the pool this week (see post below), I was a little concerned that I was going to get another big string of questions from the girls. I did not, however. In fact, one little girl told her mom, prior to swimming with Will, that he didn't have any feet. But then, after swimming & playing with him, she raced to tell her dad all of the things Will was doing - & he even came to check out Will's pool tricks too. I love that - when people notice the things Will can do rather than noticing his differences. I struggle because I so want people to see him as this funny little curly haired guy - not as someone with hand & feet differences. So, it really made my day when someone went to tell her dad all about who he is... & not about his body!

Playing in the ocean with Mommy
Wow- playing outside at the beach all morning really wears the boy out! He is sleeping over 4 hours in the afternoon - he goes down around 1pm & I typically wake him up around 5:30 or 6!
This week, we taught Will how to dive for a toy (in shallow water on a lower step & with some help pointing his head in the right direction) & also how to jump in & swim to the stairs. That keeps him very busy... & wears him out!
As you can see, he just needs a little help making the turn.

R - we miss you & can't wait to see you in a few days!!! Will talks about Da Da ("Da Da hold you!") all the time!
Will has also developed a new happy dance here. When he eats & is happy, he does the tummy drum dance- so cute!
(Don't forget- to enjoy the sound of Will... & my obnoxious voice- sorry! - put the music playlist on pause at the bottom of the blog!)
