Tonight, Will (aka: "like a baseball player" and also "like a man") reminded me of that fun version of Rudolf, the Red Nosed Reindeer that kids sing. You know, the one with the various interruptions such as, "like a lightbulb!"
While singing "Jesus Loves Me," he added the following:
"...He is strong - like a baseball player! Yes, Jesus loves me..."
I hope Jesus just cracks up that my child compares Him to both baseball players & Johnny Depp - the pirate.
(GAC- he wore his Cardinals hat but only briefly! I think he has been influenced by the tv coverage of the world series lately! We did, however, use the blanket in his stroller!)

At one house we stopped at to trick or treat, there were new puppies. One of those puppies has a new home... at my parent's house!
R & I were so thankful there was also candy as we were not wanting to add to our zoo.
They are awfully cute, though, aren't they?!?!

Will often said, "yes please" instead of "trick or treat." He enjoyed the bits of candy I let him try & I especially have enjoyed my portion of his collection! :)
Sometimes, he preferred collecting acorns in people's yards & sidewalks rather than going to the door for the candy! Homeowners were glad to have their acorns picked up, I think!

On Halloween day, we took Will to a local junior college baseball tournament. A friend of our family is a pitcher at Howard College so it was fun cheering for Birch. (Will often tells me he is a "good pitcher like Birch!" Mr. Confident!)
Rafael Palmiro's son (Rafael was a TX Ranger when I was growing up) was playing on the team too - rather exciting!

We'll be TIVOing the World Series game tomorrow to get Will through the winter when there is no live baseball!
