Spring Training!

When it's time for Mommy to head inside & make dinner, baseball spring training goes to the kitchen too!

Does anyone else's kitchen look like this when you are cooking???

So What's Spring Training Like at Our House?

Catching


Pitching

and batting

Lots & Lots of Batting

and Running the Bases

& Stealing Bases (he likes to skip right over second!)
& yelling for the team

Here's some recent videos of Will's spring training - I took these about a month ago & it's amazing how much he has improved just in a month. I guess if you practice DAILY, you improve! He can now sometimes hit the ball without a tee - with a real life pitcher! He also almost never hits the tee anymore but has great aim at hitting the ball. And, he can hit it far!
He LOVES baseball!

Also - excuse the mini tantrum - he gets frustrated with himself when he hits the tee instead of the ball! We're working on not throwing the bat.)

So, why the sudden urgency to practice baseball in the last month (besides his passion for the sport?)
