First Tornado Warning

I know I'm a little late reporting on this morning's ultrasound appointment.

I got distracted by the tornado warning.

I wouldn't have known there even was one (funnel was spotted apparently not far from our home) except that while I was watching a cartoon with Will and cuddling on the couch, my mother in law thought to call and tell me. Glad she was looking out for me!

I might not have noticed about the tornado but I did notice the hail and let Will hold it. He didn't care for it. He doesn't like "cold stuff."

Ruby (our fearless except not really golden retriever) is terrified of storms. She actually has prescription anxiety pills for storms. I try to save those and give her them when we have parties. She is the ideal dog when she is drugged! So, since we were home with her, I skipped the pills and made her come in my closet with Will and I. She alternated between hiding in the shower and hiding under my clothes.

We took some blocks into the closet along with a pillow and water and his beloved gigi. It would have been a great, fun adventure were it not for the fact that it was infringing on nap time.

Thankfully, the warning for our area has passed so I just put him down a bit late.

I realize you could care less about this exciting adventure of ours. It was, however, Will's first tornado warning & therefore I tried to document it.
