I discovered this blog about a week ago - Smith was due to be born August 20 - just 11 days prior to my Ellie. I've been following it so closely as he was born at about 24 weeks. It gave me hope in case Ellie must be delivered soon. He has often been on my heart and mind.
This morning, Smith died. I just checked their blog and though I don't know his parents (Jon & Kori) my heart is breaking with them tonight. I've never met Smith but I loved him - such a beautiful baby.
Please cover them in your prayers as they mourn the loss of that precious baby boy. No parent should have to plan a memorial service for their child. My heart is so heavy for them this week.

Hi! I somehow stumbled across your blog from the Poe Fam blog. I was friends with Reagan in high school and we also attended First Baptist Church together. Your story has truly touched my heart. I heard about the prayer requests for Will through mutal church friends and prayed for him often when you were pregnant with him. I will defintely be praying for your sweet daughter Ellie also! I am so sorry that you are going through all this! I am literally at a loss for words of what to say but please know that I will be praying for you guys often! I will pray for comfort for you, Reagan and little Will and for peace and complete healing for little Miss Ellie. Always remember that God loves us and has a future and a hope for each one of us! (Jer. 29:11) I will definitely be praying!
