Tyler & Dallas

While in Dallas for Will's recent doctors & prosthetics appointments, we spent some time with our friends Laura & Caroline
In my efforts lately to do things with baby Ellie that I am fearful of not being able to do with her later, we went shopping. Laura was glad to oblige - as the mother of a daughter who is always dressed in beautiful smocked clothes with matching bows, she was a huge help!
So below is a terrible picture of me but I am trying to document times I consciously feel like I am doing things with Ellie.

We enjoyed a nice dinner out with our kids. The kids did great - really behaved well throughout the meal. Towards the end, it was past bedtime & they were getting restless while their mamas were enjoying eating out & talking.
So, I whipped out the little i-touch & they both instantly knew how to play the games, etc.
Apple, I will gladly sell the rights to this picture for you to use in your advertising.
The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks at Northpark
We went to Tyler for a few days prior to Will's appointments. I was scheduled to attend a women's retreat there & my aunts were all coming to town.
Will got lots of quality time with Mimi
& especially with his Cookie - whom he pretty much spent an entire day with while us girls were retreating
He loves racing Cookie
He enjoyed some time swinging although he found the porch swing to be a bit too relaxing - he wanted "faster & higher!"
Swinging with Cookie & Great Aunt Lili
He had each of his great aunts race him. It brings me so much joy watching them play and laugh and love on my Will!
GAC (Great Aunt Carolea) caught him & tickled him. Happy boy
Not sure what game Great Aunt Lili is playing with him here but it involved running & leaves.
My parents had some friends over for my dad's birthday & Will had a blast playing baseball with Mr. Ramey - possibly the world's biggest Rangers fan. Tom is a great pitcher (much better than Mommy) & Will got to work on his swing. Lately, he hasn't wanted to use his tee anymore (he is two, you know!)
