Will has a new bed buddy. Our 70 lb golden retriever, Ruby, is terrified of storms, wind, strange noises, etc. She actually has prescription anxiety pills for storms! Recently, during a lightning storm, she climbed onto Will's bed as we were reading bedtime stories. And she was not leaving. Sweet Will put his covers on her & fell asleep to the gentle vibrations of her trembling 70 lb body. Sweet bed buddies.

Our dog is also terrified of thunder and lightning, and he comes barreling up the stairs to come lay down next to me, his breath heaving and eyebrows twitching. Such innocent souls!
