Sometimes, you have to stop & smell the neighbor's flowers.
The picture doesn't do it justice but I noticed last night that there is a distinct color difference between Will's arms, face, & chest & his new zancos (prosthetics.)
Maybe the zancos need some spray on tan?
Recent Tyler pictures:
Swimming in the lake
the fisherman admiring his catch - he's much more confident with it in a net
It's slimy!
(He gets his aversion to touching slimy things from his mom!)
The proud fisherman - his first catch!
Yahoo! Will caught his first fish!!!
He proceeded to give his Lovie a big neck hug & then do a victory dance! One very excited little fisherman (& his proud Lovie)
Reeling in the big one!
Fishing (im)patiently- he loved pulling up his hook & admiring the hook & worm!
Will caught 2 fish last weekend! He suggested Lovie clean & cook them for his dinner but they were a tad small. :)
Pretend fishing with Cookie
Will thought the bait shop was fun!
While in Tyler, we explored two farmers' markets. I love going to the farmer's market & getting fresh veggies & cheese & fruits - yum!
Will especially loved the blackberries & couldn't wait to get home to eat them!
Cookie & Lovie got Will his first bike for his birthday. Clever kid found the bike in it's hiding spot recently so he got it a bit early!
It's a "balance bike" by Specialized & is designed for kids ages 2-4. It doesn't have pedals & actually is supposed to ease the transition to a regular bike without training pedals. Will's friend across the street from my parents, Beau, has one & is amazing on it! I think there will be a bit of a learning curve but before long, he'll be off!
Goodness, when did he get to be such a big boy?!?
It's a pirate bike, by the way, so Captain Hook Will is thrilled!
