Frontier Friends Visit!

It is so good for our hearts to see friends right now. There is something about spending time with people who have the energy to play with Will and love on us that just encourages our hearts so much. It is so good for our family and our marriage to spend time laughing and playing with friends.
We have a few friends here in Dallas where we are temporarily based for Ellie's medical treatments. However, we keep worrying that they are going to get sick of us since they're the only local friends we've got! (Seriously, we need to make some friends - you know, in all of our spare time between Ellie's 4 times a week therapy/doctors appointments.)
We got to have dinner last night with our Dallas friends. Will loves playing with Caroline (it's who we assume he has named his sister after) & we loved getting to sit outside to eat a homemade meal. Will was so glad to have a backyard to run in finally. I think he misses his backyard! Caroline practiced being a big sister & held Ellie some for me - so cute... "all the time" (she informed me she is "cute all the time!" hilarious!) Somehow, I didn't get a single picture of the evening! This same couple brought us dinner one night at the hospital - it seriously felt like a double date to R & I... which shows you just how badly we need to get out if dinner with a couple in a hospital room feels like a date! (In our defense, the nurse thought we were having a party with all the laughter & yummy food in our room!)
Thanks, K's, for having us - over & over again!

Then, this morning, our good friends & neighbors back home, the B's, came to town! We loved getting to spend the day with them - so fun to see friends from back home!
Rachel is an artist so I asked her to decorate Ellie's casts for the weekend. They are beautiful!
Will was so very excited to see his friends! He loved playing at a local park with them and then back at our condo.
He did have a hard time sharing some of his toys - he hasn't had a whole lot of friends around here to have to share with so we are going to have to work on some of that again when we are back home.
Lots of laughter and rowdy boy time!
Aren't they cute???
My Sweet Will - touch is definitely his love language!
We've missed you, frontier friends!!! I just realized that it has been over a month since Will & I have been home!
Thank you for visiting us & spending your day with us!
You've encouraged our hearts (& worn out our Will!)
Thank you!!!

Katie, please let us know if you need anything from us. I know it has been a long time since we have seen or talked to y'all (probably since we were in Waco), but we are in the Dallas area as well. We would love to help out! We can bring a meal or just come to visit and talk.
