Happy One Month Ellie Girl!
I'm so sorry you are spending your one month day in a hospital.
I am so thankful you are here.
I am enjoying the excuse to take naps with you on my chest and to cuddle nonstop.
We love you!
Ellie's First Month Things of Note:
She rolled over (day 8)
She drops a middle of the night feeding every other night
Her personality has begun to show - she is a feisty thing!
She weighs 8 lbs, 3 oz (or did yesterday in the ER before the torture began)
She still has her hair
Her eyes are bright blue
She is not a fan of tummy time although she likes to sleep on her tummy
She keeps her eye on her brother when she is awake (smart girl)
She is very responsive to music - I've found that certain songs on my phone when played during difficult, painful medical procedures, help soothe her
She is like an alarm clock during the day - she knows exactly when it is feeding time
She is impatient
She is loud
She is starting to move her arms and legs a little more than we thought possible.
She makes the cutest little dinosaur noises.
She has a precious smile she is experimenting with.

We adore our Ellie Girl
