The Fourth!

We spent our fourth of July swimming,
doing fireworks,

 putting our feet up
 fishing
paddleboarding with Daddy and a best buddy

jet skiing with a long time friend in town

hanging out with friends on the dock

 eating yummy food with friends

 swimming and feeling very independent
 cuddling

and finishing out our day with sparklers and a big fireworks display thanks to Dr. Rick & Daddy

hey katie!
this morning i took emory to see "dolphin tale" at our local movie theater. it was one of the free summer movies. :) i remember your post about taking will to see it, and, based on your recommendation, i thought she would enjoy it. (she loved it, btw) i happened to sit on the end of the row, and just as the movie began, a late-arriving group passed me. i just happened to look in my purse on the floor as the family climbed the stairs passing me, and a little boy passed me wearing flex foot (feet?) prosthetics. since reading your blog over these last couple of years, my eyes have been opened to limb differences, and my experiences (through the computer screen) have been broadened. i thought that seeing him was the coolest thing!

hope y'all are well :) after several career changes, jeff has finally settled into one. it's the same as r's. not sure if r knew that!

Thanks I needed this at 3:31 am EST. Up late because my teen son and 'friends' were being completely out of control on Facebook and I was stewing (and reeling in shock at the atrocious name calling). Your blog brings me calm. I got to skim through some older posts too which was fun to see Will so young.
